Scenes from Dublin

It's Ireland. So let's start and end this post with what else....a pint of Guinness!!

Dublin was such a welcoming city. And to be honest, it was probably the place that seemed the most closely related to 'American' style living. We drank, ate, walked A TON and just enjoyed the friendly Dubliners. And being from Irish descent made the trip even more special. (I am from the O'Sullivan clan :)) It was a great place to visit for a short weekend. We were celebrating our 10th Anniversary and we had a great time wandering the streets, museums and pubs.

Some of our favorite places included The Temple Bar, kinda reminded me of Flora-Bama haha!! The Winding Stair was an excellent place for dinner (thanks to Van for choosing!), Visiting the Brazen Head pub was also fun. But our favorite place ending up being Dingle, an Irish Whisky Bar and Restaurant....excellent food, excellent drinks and amazing live music!

Have you been to Dublin? What was your favorite part?

  4. I LOVE Dublin. And I agree, it is very similar to an American city but encompasses Irish charm at the same time.

  9. Yay!! Love Dublin and love Ireland! Love your pictures (and love the post because of it xx) I loved the Brazen Head, and Temple Bar. We have a Porterhouse here in Cork. I never made it into the Dublinia (spelling?) exhibit, but Christ Church was amazing. You should come back again and we can go frolic around and drink Guinness together! Haha
