Hello friends! So the blog has taken a bit of a back seat as of late! Here is an attempt at an explanation :)
My First 10k
Sooooo, I ran a 10k yesterday!! I set a goal for myself and I accomplished it. Don't you love it when that happens? Ahh, sweet success! It was my first 10k ever and it was a bit intimidating but turned out to be an amazing day. And I'm writing all about it today on my fitness blog, Fit for Life. So hop on over and read all the deets.
Yep, hit that nail on the head this past weekend when I automatically posted a drafted blog post. Haven't done that in about a year! So sorry for that. I'm pressing 'revert to draft' on everything. Truth is, I've really been focusing on a lot of other things lately. Por ejemplo...
1.) I'm currently looking into starting some classes this summer (all chemistry bleh) in hopes of being able to apply for a Dietetics program next summer. Not another degree but just a DPD course plan, I love Psychology but I also love health and food and helping others understand nutrition. So, anyway...that's taking some brain power away from the blog.
2.) I've obviously been running and exercising a lot.
3.) I've been spending a lot of time outdoors. Spring is really starting to show it's face here and I want to soak up every little beautiful moment that I have left in England!
The puppies are leaving soon. Yes, I still call them my puppies and they are both 6. Oh, I am going to miss them like crazy! They both must be shipped home before the temps get too high, as they are both brachycephalic (snub nosed). While they will be getting spoiled with their grandma CiCi, I will be missing their sweet wiggles in the mornings. I have been getting all of their flights and things squared away and it's taking some time. They have got about a month left in England and then they will make their journey back to the States. Sad face.
So there's my exlpanation :)
