We just returned from Prague and sadly so.....Prague was an absolute hit with us. Van and I both like to see historical and touristy things while visiting new cities but this is not why we loved Prague. We found that we really and truly felt comfortable in Prague. We loved the people (not the tourists so much but the locals), we absolutely loved the food (much more of this coming soon) and we loved the beer. Oh and lets not forget the prices. Those were pretty awesome too. We ate a TON of food, took naps everyday and just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
So before I start getting into detailed posts from our trip to Praha, here is a little rundown of what we did and what you can expect to be reading over the next couple of weeks!
Taste of Prague Food Tour: So incredibly happy we splurged on this tour and took the tour on our first day in Prague. It was phenomenal with the highlight being an unexpected tour around Michelin starred La Degustation's kitchen and eating some very interesting dishes there. You may remember this restaurant from Anthony Bourdain's visit to Prague. I cannot wait to share this post with you. This tour was incredible and I was full for an entire day. Needless to say, I am beyond shocked that I only gained a pound on this trip haha!!
Visited Vysehrad and the Saturday market.
Wandered streets aimlessly, marveling at the architecture.
Watched Van do this....
Visited the Castle and watched the changing of the guards. The views were amazing.
Beer Spa....the manliest spa date ever!
More to come on all of these little adventures later! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed Prague and wonder what other cities make up this wonderful little country. Hopefully a future visit is in the cards for us because we certainly loved this place. As we get back to real life this week, I will be preparing posts for everything wonderful about our new favorite place! Stay tuned!
