Looks like a wonderful visit! Just curious, what does "Amsterdanny" mean?
ReplyDeleteHaha! I should have explained! My Dad's name is Danny and I'm telling you, he doesn't meet a stranger and the Dutch loved him....so we just called him Amsterdanny lol!
DeleteHow nice to have your first visitor! Still waiting on family to come for a visit...hopefully this Fall!
ReplyDeleteIt was a little intimidating because I just wanted to take him everywhere, but luckily he is really laid back and enjoyed everything we did!
DeleteIt sounds like you had an amazing time with him here! x
ReplyDeleteI did! It was so nice to see someone from home!
DeleteHello from the link-up! It looks like a great week. My dad is visiting us in Korea next week- I can't wait for his visit.
ReplyDeleteI bet you are so excited!! It is really fun to show family a little taste of our lives first hand :)
DeleteI can't wait for my family to come visit me, it sounds like you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteIt was sooo nice! He is already planning a trip back!
DeleteHe looks like he had a blast with y'all! My favorite picture is the first one--the colors are so pretty and the fact that he's so far up is unexpected. Just found your blog, and I can't wait to read more!
ReplyDeleteThe tower tour is amazing!! I have morre pictures if you would like to check them out under the travels tab :) Welcome to the blog!!
DeleteAw, it looks like you guys had a lovely time!
ReplyDeleteI remember last year a load of new Americans came over to Germany for work and their reactions to things were so funny, you're right when you say the convenience of the USA, that was the biggest complaint they had. For me, I find Germany a little more inconvenient than England but it's nothing compared to the USA!
So funny right?? I think anywhere we move to that is different from our home country, we will probably find it inconvenient!!
