A few weekends ago we were able to play a round at Leeds Castle Golf Course. It was incredible to have to opportunity to play around a 1000 year old castle! The pro shop is situated on the back side of the castle, so when you arrive the castle cannot be seen. We headed out to the course expecting to see the castle but it didn't show itself until the 4th hole. But before we get to the views....let's check out this swing. Look at that form!!
Haha...just kidding :)

If you play golf you must take the time to play Leeds. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The setting cannot be beat, nor the price. I couldn't get over how inexpensive it was. And there is a nice little pub for a pint and some grub after walking the course. We decided that there would be many excuses made to come back to Leeds Castle for a round of play :)
What's your favorite place to play?

That would be so fun to play on old castle grounds! I am looking forward to playing under the midnight sun this summer.
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be awesome! I want to say the latest we will have sun is 9:30ish??
DeleteSam would love this. I wonder if he's played here before. I'll have to remember to ask. (He loves golf and spent yesterday watching the Master's off and on.) x
ReplyDeleteYes ask him! I loved it...it really was a fun little course!
DeleteThose pink golf balls are kind of amazing!! I'm horrible at gold...unless you count wii golfing...which I think we should. Awesome pictures and I think I might be motivated to pick up the game if I had such an amazing backdrop to play in.
ReplyDeleteWii golf is so much fun! Yes, golf is definitely challenging....and the challenge is really against yourself which makes it so hard! I suck most days but its worth all of the beautiful scenery :)
DeleteMy Fiance would love that!
ReplyDeletePLaying golf in England is way cool!
