Hotel Review | Heywood House Hotel, Liverpool UK

With just a few short hours to stay in Liverpool, we chose Heywood House Hotel based on price and location. The hotel is located in the Liverpool business district which is home to many restuarants and is close to the River Mersey. We found the location to be perfect for our needs! If you are a Beatles fan and wanting to visit the Cavern Club, this hotel would be very convenient for you.

Staircase leading to 3 floors of rooms. There is also a lift.
The building itself dates back to around 1800 and is typical for a hotel of this age: maze-like hallways, smaller rooms, and beautiful details.

We chose a double standard room that did not include breakfast. The hotel room was small but very tastefully decorated and the best part.....HAD AIR CONDITIONING!! Even though it was chilly outside, it was so nice to have air circulating in our room. Having never lived without central heating and air until now, I miss having cold or hot air circulating in our house. This is always a plus in a hotel.

Shower complete with a rubber duckie!
Our room had a shower only, but it was a spacious shower. The bathroom was a little tight on space but was stocked with quality bathroom amenities.

More views from the room....

Decent size flat screen TV
View back towards the door
Perfect coffee/tea setup
For the price, I felt we got an amazing deal on this hotel. The parking was not the most convenient but if you don't mind walking then it won't be a problem for you. I would definitely recommend this hotel on a trip to Liverpool and would definitely choose this hotel on a return trip!
